Beerburrum SS - GLA Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an existing classroom Block (Block B) – Level 1 only at Beerburrum State School, located at 8 Beerburrum Road, Beerburrum QLD 4517, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

B Block – Level 1 contains two (2 No.) Classrooms, an Office, Data Room, Verandah and Storeroom. The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to new Floor Finishes, Painting, Operable Wall, two (2 No.) Teaching Walls and other Joinery Items. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
