Design Services Consultant for Project N2269 SEA1397 Phase 5D Nulka Maintenance and Assembly Facilities

Requests for Tenders are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Design Services Consultant (DSC) to provide services on the basis described in the attached Brief.

The DSC will be required to support the delivery of Project N2269 Nulka (The Project). The Project includes the design and construction of maintenance and assembly facilities supporting SEA1397 Phase 5D and will provide the facilities required to support the production and maintenance of current and enhanced Nulka decoys. The Project supports the acquisition of an enhanced Nulka decoy variant, for which additional production and maintenance capacity is required. The DSC is expected to design a group of facilities for the production and maintenance of the Nulka Decoy system at Defence Establishment Orchard Hills (DEOH) to replace the current aging facility at Defence’s Mulwala establishment.

The services required of the DSC will involve the development and delivery of design documentation from a 5% Master Plan Feasibility Review through to completion of a 100% Design Report, costing of design milestones to applicable cost confidence levels, as well as engaging in stakeholder consultation and obtaining all relevant Departmental, Government and Parliamentary approvals.
