Description
The project aims to provide fit-for-purpose, contemporary healthcare facilities as part of a comprehensive infrastructure solution intended to address deficiencies around condition and functionality of priority Joint Health Command facilities, providing primary health and associated health care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel around Australia.
The works involved include design services for a range of new build and refurbishment of existing health centre solutions.
The typical spatial requirements for each health centre include: entry, administration, primary health care, inpatient unit, pharmacy, mental health, physiotherapy, dental, support areas, home health care.
The locations for package 1 are:
VIC – Simpson Barracks, Puckapunyal Military Area, Latchford Barracks
ACT – Royal Military College/Duntroon
NSW – Holsworthy Barracks
WA – Campbell Barracks
A separate ITR process for the same project will be undertaken concurrently for sites in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
