Description
A pilot scale fabric and other material Laminating and Stenter Line is required for research purposes to be installed and commissioned in CMSE’s Waurn Ponds facility. The equipment must be suitable for a wide range of materials from simple woven and knit fabrics to high-tech functional materials including solid substrates such as metal plates, foils and meshes.
The new fabric Laminating and Stenter Line is replacing a full sized decommissioned Stenter as part of CSIRO’s Belmont site relocation and re-establishment of smaller research facilities at Waurn Ponds. The new equipment must be compatible with existing CSIRO pilot weaving and fabric production facilities maintaining current production of usable fabrics for further research.
