Description

The continence management and support Scheme (CMASS) is jointly administered by the Department of Health (DOH) and the Disability Services Commission (DSC). The DOH manages the clinical component of the CMASS while the Commission manages the product procurement and product subsidy allocation processes. Community-based clinical continence management services will be provided throughout Western Australia by a non-government service provider under the terms of formal agreement with the DOH. The clinical component will provide asssessment, intervention and management strategies for eligible people experiencing continence problems. Continence advisors, who are registered clinicials and who have completed additional training to practise as continence advisors will provide specialist expertise in the fields o;f continence management.
