Sport and Recreation Tasmania, through the Department of Economic Development, has commissioned a book of the history of sport and recreation in Tasmania. The work places sport and recreation in its historical context and enables Tasmanians to understand their sporting and recreational heritage. The manuscript has now been completed and edited. Final Proof reading will take place by the time the successful tenderer has been selected. The Department of Economic Development is seeking to engage a contractor that will undertake the concept design, preparation of artwork, production, printing and delivery of the book between 1 April 2004 and I June 2004.
