The WorkCover Corporation Grants Committee has approved a grant for a project from the SAfer Industries Civil Construction OHS&W Committee to develop, publish and circulate generic Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) of 32 of civil construction##s high risk activities, targeted mainly at the small to medium sized enterprises. Suitable person(s) are invited to tender to undertake this project. The project includes: Conducting a comprehensive search for any existing SWP materials available from organisations, associated with OHS&W, from around Australia; Collating and extracting any relevant information matching the 32 identified activities; Proposing draft documentation and finalising design on each activity sheet for publication; Ensuring the content of each SWP complies with South Australian OHS&W Regulations; Supervising the final publication of the product, 32 SWP in a folder; Conducting a random field examination on a minimum of 25 SME to assess the impact of the project, and; Reporting to the Civil Construction OHS&W Committee on a regular basis. The successful tenderer can expect to commence the project immediately upon contract agreement.
