HMAS Penguin Program of Works

HMAS Penguin Program of Works - Request for Tender - Managing Contractor Contract (MCC-1-2003).

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified organisations to undertake the role of Managing Contractor, for the project at the HMAS Penguin Naval Base and the Pittwater Annex.

The project will involve infrastructure works - including new and refurbished office and working accommodation, upgrade of the base entry, carparks and associated services infrastructure within the HMAS Penguin Naval Base and the Pittwater Annex.

The projects timeframe is anticipated to be engagement of the Managing Contractor by August 2008.

Tenders will be evaluated on the basis described in the Tender Documents.

The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, reissued June 2006, apply to this project.

The Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme authorised by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005 (Cth) and the Building and Construction Industry Improvement (Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 (Cth) applies to this contract.
