Provision of Cash Collection and Change Delivery Service for Metropolitan and Regional Areas

The Department of Transport’s (DoT) Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) has a legislative responsibility for a range of functions aimed at ensuring driver and vehicle safety. The DoT delivers services to support those functions through its metropolitan DVS, and DoT regional service sites. Services include vehicle examinations, driver competency testing as well as issuing, renewing driver and vehicle licences.

The delivery of such services results in the collection of various Government revenues, of which a significant component is cash and cheques. Staff and public safety necessitate that the collection of cash and delivery of change is undertaken by a suitably trained and qualified provider.

The DoT has a requirement for the collection of Monies and provision of a cash delivery service, including the supply of change to DVS metropolitan and DoT regional sites.
