Ship Charter – Willis Island Re-supply April 2016
The Bureau of Meterology requires the services of a suitably equipped and crewed Charter Vessel for the resupply of the Bureau’s Willis Island Meteorological Station located in the Coral Sea.
This will involve the transfer of personnel and mixed freight, including food (frozen and dry goods) and fuel, to Willis Island, and return personnel, mixed freight and waste to the mainland. The aim is to complete the loading/unloading, voyage & changeover mission over eight (8) days; this includes up to three (3) days at Willis Island.
