You Are Invited To Provide A Response Indicating The Extent of Your Willingness And Capacity To Undertake The Inspection, Testing, And Data Management of The Defence Science And Technology Organisation (DSTO) Pressure Vessels And Lifting Devices.
DSTO Is Australia’s Second Largest Research And Development (R&D) Organisation. It Conducts Scientific And Technological Research For The Australian Defence Force (ADF). Throughout Australia, DSTO Employs Research Staff Who Uses A Range of Both General And Specialised Plant And Equipment In The Course of Their Work.
DSTO Is Seeking Contracted Services (Through A Standing Offer) To Carry Out On Site Maintenance, Inspections, Testing, Tagging And Recording For Pressure Vessels And For Plant Items Used To Lift Or Move Equipment At The DSTO Sites In South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales And To A Lesser Extent In Other States.
Defence Is Holding Industry Briefings For This ITR At The Following Times.
• Melbourne – 0900 Hours 17 February 2010.
• Adelaide – 0900 Hours 18 February 2010.
• Other Areas – By Appointment.
Nominations To Attend The Briefing Must Be Forwarded In Writing To The Contact Officer By 15/02/2010.
