The Construction of North Eastern Portion of the Guildford Railway Station Car Park and Pre-Qualification for Future Car Park and PSP Works

1. Guildford Station has been identified as a priority location for additional car parking due to it being a convenient and popular destination for train users commuting from expanding north-eastern suburbs and to the availability of a large area of vacant railway reserve land located close to the station.
2. The Project encompasses an area of approx 1ha in the north-eastern portion of the rail reserve at Guildford Station. The works consist of the design and construction of a 360-bay car park and a PSP that will connect the new car park to the station entrance and to yet-to-be-constructed PSP connections to Bassendean and Midland stations.
3. Future Works
   1. The PTA has also assessed its procurement strategy and believes it will be more efficient to shortlist a pre-qualified panel of capable contractors to invite selected tenders from for future car park and PSP works packages (Pre-Qualification (PQ)).
4. Therefore this RFT-PQ document has a dual purpose as follows:
   1. Selecting a Preferred Tenderer with a view to awarding a Contract to carry out the scope of works for upgrade to the carpark at Guildford Train Station; and

2. Selecting a panel of providers who have demonstrated a high level of capability from which future invitations to tender for future car park and PSP works packages for the next 5 years.
