Description
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) owns a property at Lot 800 Wright Crescent Bayswater, which is reserved as Parks and Recreation under the Metropolitan Region Scheme. The site is intended for management by the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) as part of the Greater Brixton Street wetlands suite. The site contains landfill that includes some asbestos containing material (ACM). Following extensive environmental investigations and discussion with the Department of Environment Regulation, the agreed remediation is to cover the landfill with a protective warning barrier and a minimum of 500mm of Virgin Extracted Natural Material (VENM) or clean fill as per the appropriate legislated remediation requirements.
The Department of Planning (The Department), on behalf of the WAPC, is seeking Offers for site remediation services for the specified site.
