Description
The Department of Transport and Urban Planning (Transport SA) is seeking tenders from reputable suppliers for the delivery of efficient, accessible & environmentally-friendly passenger buses in various sizes. The South Australian Government##s five-year replacement program for Adelaide##s Metroticket bus fleet starts in 2003-2004. Tenderers are invited to provide details of how the State##s economic development can be maximised through this program. Proposals are also invited for various size buses that are O-Bahn compatible. An industry briefing will commence at Transport SA, 1 Wright Road, Walkley Heights, on Tuesday, 3 September 2002 at 10.30am. The briefing is to clarify any requirements of the Contract. Attendance at the meeting by the tenderer or a competent representative of the tenderer is a condition precedent to the submission of a tender.
