The property has four sets of yards constructed but three sets of these yards are not in a suitable working condition for research, cattle husbandry operations and work place health and safety.The future research depends heavily on the ability to handle livestock in a safe and humane manner while adequately having the ability to draft, handle and feed them in various pens.The yard design also gives consideration to safety and training needs for the future.
