Laminar Flow Cabinets.

The Testing & Certification Service includes all fume cupboards, Class II bio-hazard cabinets, and laminar flow cabinets on the Nguma-baba, Smithfield campus, and remote sites at Cape Tribulation and Thursday Island. It is intended that the contractor complete the testing of all equipment during the one site visit to reduce disruption to the users and to allow the work to be scheduled around the normal operations and use.

This work is coordinated by the Estate Directorate, but the equipment is operated by the users of the individual research and teaching labs. Because of this, it is important to give advanced notification of the date of testing so that the testing can be scheduled around the user’s normal operations.
