The NSW Premier has announced a ban on mobile phones in schools. Mobile phone management solutions, such as pouches and lockers, and their respective providers, will need to be available under a contract for schools to purchase from where schools may decide how to implement this as a management strategy. Providers are proposed to be accessible by schools, at their own discretion, via a marketplace of pre-approved vendors following this procurement process.
