GENERAL REQUIREMENT1.1This technical description covers the requirements to be met by the supplier in supplying one steel framed sledge and two stair / landing units for use by the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) for Casey Field Training Facility Antarctica.1.2The sledge will initially carry four twenty foot ISO shipping containers. The fitting of these containers shall take place by Antarctic Division personnel in Antarctica1.3The sledge will be constructed in three main sections. Site assembly in Antarctica shall be carried out by Antarctic Division personnel.1.4The tender shall be based on this technical specification and the following drawings:1.4.1Sledge – 11006-0B Sled Drawings.pdf(20 sheets)1.4.2Stair / landing units – Stair / landing drawings.pdf(8 sheets)1.5The successful tenderer shall be provided with a full set of CAD drawings for the sledge and stair / landing units which are to be used for construction.1.6If any changes are made to the supplied drawings to aid in construction, updated as built drawings shall be provided to the ADD. Drawings to be provided in both CAD and PDF formats.1.7Any drawings provided by the successful tenderer shall become the property of the AAD.
