Description
The Department of Health (DOH) has used the ESRI GIS Toolset for over 20 years. This system is critical to DOH as it provides the underlying software and database for all of its mapping / spatial capability. The system carries out three main functions: spatial data management and analysis for all areas of Health; State Health Incident Coordination Centre (SHICC); and operational mapping and web mapping system. These integrated corporate systems are fundamental in delivering the Health information products and services required to support the Agency’s core process model in responding to care for individuals and the community, care for those who need it most and making the best use of funds and resources to support our team.
