Description

Tenders are being sought from suitably qualified engineering companies who wish to be considered for the provision of engineering design and cost estimation services for a copper cementation system to remove not less than 90% of the copper from the acid mine drainage emitting from the Mt Lyell lease site, in Queenstown, Tasmania. The purpose of this Stage 1 Request for Tender is to shortlist Tenderers who may be invited by the Department to Tender for the Contract to provide engineering design and cost estimation services for the copper cementation plant. Only Tenderers who Tender for Stage 1 and who are selected and invited by the Department to be shortlisted to Tender for Stage 2 may Tender for Stage 2. The Mt Lyell Acid Mine Drainage Remediation Project is funded by the Tasmanian Government and by the Australian Government through the Natural Heritage Trust.
