Description
The Department of State Growth is seeking innovative and cost effective proposals for the provision of a same day return, two day per week, trial bus service from West Coast of Tasmania to the city of Burnie on Tasmania's North West coast.
The trial aims to provide a quality general access bus service allowing users reasonable time to attend appointments and conduct other business in Burnie and return in the same day.
The trial will be operated for a minimum period of 12 months and used to assess whether there is long-term demand for a return bus service from the West Coast to Burnie.
