Caloundra Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) Provision of Training and Administration Facilities

The scope for the Caloundra Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) Provision of Training and Administration Facilities Project involves the Design and Construction of new Classrooms, Ablutions and Refurbishment of an existing Administration building for Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC). The location is at the Caloundra Aerodrome. 21 Pathfinder Drive Caloundra.

The work includes all related civil works, all in ground electrical, communications, hydraulic and fire services work linked into existing site services. The buildings are to be certified by the relevant engineering disciplines, by a building certifier and must conform to specific defence department requirements such as MFPE. The buildings are to be handed over to the client after all services have been tested and is suitable for occupation. All fixed fittings and fixtures are to be included but loose furniture and fittings are excluded from the scope.

At the time of issuing this Request for Tender, the Commonwealth of Australia (Commonwealth) intends to procure the works using the design and construct delivery method, under the Defence Medium Works Contract (MW-2 2004).
