Independent Estimation Services - Major Projects

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires the services of an Independent Estimator (IE) to perform services for the PTA’s Major Projects Unit (MPU).

The MPU work program derives from projects that are planned and costed by the Infrastructure Planning and Land Services (IPLS) Division. A level of interface between MPU and IPLS on projects is necessary to effectively manage the transfer of projects from the planning to delivery phases.

The work emphasis is on public transport infrastructure, civil and building construction. Estimation and verification services will be required on a number of ongoing projects, primarily on the new Perth Stadium Transport Infrastructure project and the Forrestfield - Airport Link.

The nature of the tasks are such that it could be performed by an experienced construction cost estimator or an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has had specific experience in providing estimating services and cost advice for Alliance Contracts, Early Contractor Involvement Contracts, Design and Construct Deeds, Construct Only Contracts and Design Only Contracts.
