Construction of 3.5km of new road and construction of two bridges, 0.9m of intersection upgrades, access roads and associated drainage works.

It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of the Tenderclosing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Regulation 24(1)(h) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)

To be eligible to tender, Tenderer must be suitably prequalified with Main Roads WA for the roadworks prequalification category R3 or higher and must either be prequalified for or engage a subcontractor who must be prequalified for the Main Roads WA structures prequalification category B2 or higher.
