Provision of Landscaping Services for PTAs Urban Rail Network

The Contractor is required to maintain PTA landscapes under horticultural best practices to ensure that the PTA landscapes are maintained in a vigorous healthy state, within a weed and rubbish free environment. The Contractor shall employ qualified personnel who shall be able to identify pests and diseases, and implement preventative and remedial action to contain any pest and disease outbreaks.
The Contractor shall visit the site at a minimum regularity throughout the period to undertake general maintenance duties such as weed and rubbish removal, and unscheduled visits to rectify problems as directed by PTA.
In addition, the PTA requires suitable Contractors who can satisfy the following requirements to provide these services:
a) Provide appropriate skilled and railway-safety accredited personnel;
b) Undertake services during normal hours, outside of normal hours, during night time and on weekends/public holidays;
c) Respond to priority requests including emergency call-outs;
d) Provide their own vehicles, plant, equipment and tools normally used to carry out trades-based works;

The extent of the Service covers the Public Transport Authority Railway System consisting of the following lines
1. Perth to Midland (MIDLAND LINE);
2. Perth to Armadale (ARMADALE LINE);
3. Perth to Fremantle (FREMANTLE LINE);
4. Perth to Mandurah (MANDURAH LINE);
5. Perth to Butler (JOONDALUP LINE); and
6. PERTH PRECINCT
