Description
Geoscience Australia is undertaking a Magnetotelluric survey in Northern Australia for up to 200 sites at ½ degree (~55km) spacing. GA is seeking to charter two helicopters to support the deployment and pick-up of instruments. The work will be separated into up to seven field visits as follows:
- An initial deployment of up to 35 instruments;
- Up to 5 intermediate field trips to collect the 35 instruments and redeploy them to new sites. Werequire the collection and return of all instruments to a remote accommodation station, followedby up to 3 days with no flying and then the deployment to the new locations. In some cases itmay be necessary to relocate the remote accommodation base during the no flight period;
- A final instrument collection of up to 35 instruments.
