Description
EDT will invest in future forecasting and horizon scanning campaigns, drawing on subject matter expertise from DSTG, and build on enterprise level external engagement mechanisms to help nurture and shape the innovation, science and technology ecosystem to support the future force.
The first EDT call will be undertaken under two opportunity tracks and governed via a two stage approach and will support the identification of potential partners and co-design of discrete work-packages within particular technology themes to explore how the technology could be applied to address Defence’s future requirements. This first call will focus on the Science and Technology Outlook from the IS&T priority areas of;
a. Information Warfare (Synthetic Media)
b. Quantum Technologies (Including but not limited to computing, communication & sensing applications)
