Programmed Facility Management (Programmed FM) has been engaged by Department of Communities to deliver a portion of the Social Housing Economic Recovery Package (SHERP)

The SHERP is to aid in the WA Covid-19 economic recovery and support the WA Construction industry while improving the lifespan and quality of homes available for social housing. While the primary objective of SHERP is about creating jobs in the building and construction industry, SHERP also provides an opportunity to focus on employment outcomes for members of the community who experience barriers to employment and for those who are disproportionately impacted by the economic and social impacts of COVID-19. This includes Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability. The strategic principles underpinning this approach is to support the employment of Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability.

As part of this package Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Communities are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake refurbishment works at Lot 122, 9A Zimmri Street, Karloo, WA, 6530. The property is currently void.

    1. Scope of Works

The Work includes but is not limited to the following works:

Carpentry

Electrical

Flooring

Curtains

Painting

Tiling

Plumbing

External Works

Internal and External Tiling

Windows

Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation. All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to submission of their tender.

All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.
