WA North Metropolitan Health Service
Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital - Supply and Installation of Wayfinding Signage
Details
Description
SCGH currently has two generations of internal wayfinding signage systems with additional “added when needed” signs in varying designs and styles.
The main public corridors are cluttered with a variety of other signage including A-frame, temporary laminated signage and tenant corflute triangular signs.
Recent audits conducted by wayfinding design consultants identified the need to rationalise the signage and provide a clear hierarchy of signage to enable the patient, public and staff journeys to be seamless from arrival at the QEII Medical Centre to reaching their destination point within SCGH.
NMHS requires the provision and installation of wayfinding signage for the following areas:
- G Block all floors where public and patients access;
- E Block all floors where public and patients access;
- A Block lift lobbies;
- Balbuk Bidi Watling Walk;
- Waitj Bidi Emu Path; and
- Bibdjool Bidi Gecko Path.
