Nambour State College - Access Modifications (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Art Room Refurbishment in Block R at Nambour State College, located at 1 Carroll St, Nambour QLD 4560, as part of the Ed4All program.

The scope of works comprises of the internal demolition of the existing GLA and Storeroom and Refurbishment to a New compliant GLA Space. The works consists of new vinyl flooring, glazing, joinery, ceilings , electrical, lighting, communications and a new covered link to Block R. The position of the building is in the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

 Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

 Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
