Euroa Circuit Road Construction Aldoga Gladstone State Development Area

The Minister for Economic Development Queensland has a requirement for a suitably qualified principal contractor for the Euroa Circuit Road Construction and associated Civil works at Aldoga, located within the Gladstone State Development Area. The site address is at Euroa Circuit, Aldoga on Lot 1, 2, 3 on SP245955, Lot 4 on SP245936 and Lot 50, 51 on SP293528.

BACKGROUND – The Euroa Circuit roadworks will create suitable road corridor access to 6 industrial lots. The Contract Works predominantly focus on the roadworks within the Euroa Circuit Road Corridor. The Euroa Circuit Road Corridor will be handed over to Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) on completion. Additional contract works include the requirement to co-ordinate and provide access to concurrent activities occurring in the Aldoga Industrial Precinct.

IMPORTANT NOTE - An eligibility requirement for tenderers to be considered will be prequalification under the Austroads Transport Infrastructure National Prequalification System for civil construction at the following minimum levels:

• Financial Level F10
• Roadworks R2

CURRENT STATE - The land has generally been cleared of vegetation and has been previously used for industrial purposes, but is otherwise unimproved and is available for development works to commence.

Operational Works approval from Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) is required prior to commencing construction. Operational Works Application has been submitted to GRC and review is underway. Ergon and Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) are currently undertaking design works for the electrical and water services for the Euroa Circuit site.
