The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is seeking offers via an Invitation to Offer (ITO), from qualified and experienced shipbuilding firms and/or naval architects to develop a suitable concept design for a 20 – 24 metre patrol vessel for use within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area (GBWHA), Torres Straits and Gulf of Carpentaria that minimises the impact on the environment.
