NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Offender Telephone System Agreement - DJ2016-119

Provision of a replacement Offender Telephone System (OTS) to be implemented as a fully managed service or an “as a service” solution. The provision of an OTS is a legislative requirement in accordance with Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Regulation 2014 (Part 5, Division 7). The OTS implementation (Stage 1) forms the basis of the Agreement with the Department having the opportunity to implement further OTS and Offender Digital Services (ODS) (Stages 2-5) in the future under the agreement. The price for the Offender Telephone Services primarily comprises call costs which will be payable by users of the Service (ie inmates and detainees) rather than the Department of Justice.
