Standing Offer Arrangement for the provision of waste collection and disposal services

Queensland Corrective Services is seeking Standing Offers from waste management companies to provide waste collection and disposal services to its secure and non-secure facilities at a number of locations across Queensland. This Standing Offer Arrangement will also be available for the use of other Queensland Government departments.

The successful Supplier will be expected to manage the disposal of a number of waste streams, including rationalising waste management processes where feasible, including assessing contamination and diverting recyclables from landfill, and providing a proactive approach to improving waste management outcomes by monitoring performance standards and implementing industry best practice.

The department is not seeking Offers for different waste strategies but is requesting Offers which include a schedule of fixed rates with variable quantities and an agreed standard of service inclusions.
