Description
The WA Police Force is seeking a suitable Contractor for the provision of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and Equipment, under a lease arrangement. The Contractor will be required to provide RPAS, equipment and all maintenance and replacement parts as part of the lease arrangement.
The WA Police Force also requires the following optional services for its currently owned fleet of approximately 60 RPAS:
- support and maintenance until end of life, at which point they will be replaced by leased units; and
- disposal options with the preference being a “buy-back”.
Future requirements may be sought under this contract for Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) or other Fixed Wing Aircraft. This will be dependent on the WA Police Force’s operational requirements and funding, and subject to State Procurement rules.
