Description

This Request document specifies the Department of Mines and Petroleum’s (the ‘DMP’) requirements for Digital Copying of Exploration Reports and information and Heritage Survey Reports. The DMP requires scanning of between 5,000 and 10,000 documents per year. The DMP reserves the right to accept more than one tender concurrently for the provision of this service.
The successful Respondent/s must provide a rapid turnaround time for the digital copying and return of original hardcopy data and digital files, together with CD-ROMs (or other media) to the DMP. The successful Respondent/s must demonstrate the ability to regularly process up to 300 reports per week whilst also demonstrating a processing capacity above this amount should it be a necessity.
Hardcopy exploration information and heritage reports constitute legal documents and the successful Respondent/s must ensure storage in a secure environment and return of specified reports or data to the DMP within one (1) working day upon receiving a request for their retrieval. In all situations, the turn-around time for scanning of exploration and heritage reports and information should not exceed one (1) week.
