Services required
Work which Consultants may be required to carry out shall include, but shall not be limited to the following:
Branding/Design
- Creating concepts and designing printed materials for specific projects
- Design of promotional materials based on existing templates
- Design of templates, including Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and In Design
- Taking photographs or arranging for photography
- Design of web pages and online forms
- Design and production of signage
- Design of e-newsletters
- Basic training for Council staff who may need to generate material using templates
- Organisational brand research, brand identity, planning, creating guidelines
- Affiliated services such as printing, advertising, branding, distribution, market research
Public Relations
- Creating public relations/communications plans for projects
- Peer review of key material such as communications plans, strategies, media releases
- Media advice and writing of releases/letters to the editor
- Writing or editing of documents, speeches, presentations
- Training for Council staff eg. Media training, presentation training, writing for the web
- Government relations
- Crisis management
