Description
If so, the State Energy Research Advisory Committee (SENRAC) provides energy research and development grants to proposals which have strong commercialisation prospects, environmental benefits and the potential to reduce energy costs to South Australian consumers. Prime areas of interest for energy research funding in 2000-2001 are: energy research involving industry development development of sustainable/renewable energy technologies efficiency of energy use transport sector projects regional development energy projects The research and development proposals must have close support from South Australian industry and must aim to increase the State##s competitiveness and export opportunities. Projects should be jointly funded by industry and/or the proposer. SENRAC will consider proposals that are: laboratory, field or factory based R&D projects feasibility studies, business plans, or market research activities that facilitate access to larger (e.g. Commonwealth) grants commercialisation projects. SENRAC will also consider post-graduate scholarship proposals in energy research from higher education institutions.
