Exercise Management Course Development

As part of the National Crisis Exercising and Lessons Capability (NCEC) Strategy, NEMA has committed to working with jurisdictions to contribute to an uplift in national lessons and exercise management capability. Our national crisis exercise program will focus on multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional exercises with the potential to cause nationally significant harm.

Our intent in developing an exercise management course is to maintain and regularly update the master copy of the course and enable access for all Commonwealth, state and territory government agencies to support their training and capability development. To enhance existing national capability, the course content will be aligned with exercise training courses and materials from other exercising capabilities such as the Australia-New Zealand Counter Terrorism Committee.
