Supply of an environmental measurement sensor for profiling water quality at Macquarie Harbour

Description
CSIRO have been contracted to restart the Macquarie Harbour Water Quality Model. Under this project CSIRO will deploy a profiling mooring in Macquarie Harbour for 5 months to collect observational data. This data will improve the accuracy of the Macquarie Harbour Water Quality Model to inform the regulation of the salmon industry, in particular in relation to the conservation and species recovery for the Maugean Skate. The accuracy and skill of this model will be increased though calibration against near real time observational data.
