METROPOLITAN TRACK FACILITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF POLICE DRIVER TRAINING

Western Australia Police (WA Police) are seeking offers for the exclusive use of a suitable track Facility (“The Facility”) for the purpose of Police driver training courses, operated by WA Police.

The Facility (whole of premises) will be required exclusively for the training of WA Police personnel in urgent duty driving and may be used for wet and dry driver training in full day blocks. During the exclusive use of the Facility, no other attendees (other than core requirements of the Contractor) are to be allowed access to the site. The Facility should be shielded from public view, as much as practicable, due to the nature of the training being undertaken.

The Facility must be of a fully bituminised road surface, with a similar width to a two-lane carriageway and adequate run-off area surrounding the track for safety purposes. The track Facility should provide for areas which are shielded from view to people waiting to undergo training.

The expected use of the track will be approximately twenty (20) days per calendar year.
