Demolition - 221 MacArthur Avenue - Sheds H, M and N and Option Shed J- Northshore Hamilton

Departmentof State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning on behalf of the Minister for Economic Development Queensland has a requirement for a suitably qualified contractor to undertak demolishion works of three (potentially four) disused industrial warehouses at 122 MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton (Northshore) to enable the sites to be utilised as leasable hardstand and future carparking in the short term, facilitating future developed in the medium term that aligns with the relevant development scheme.

The works covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to the supply of material, plant, labour and supervision necessary to carry out the following, refer also to CBRE Tender Specification and appendices; for further detail:

• Preparation of a Hazardous Substances Management Plan by a suitably qualified and licenced professional;
• Remediation and removal of contaminated building materials;
• Removal of redundant infrastructure including demolition of existing buildings, some pavements and services;
• Disposal of all demolished and/or remediated materials to approved facilities;
• Minor repair works to existing pavements;
• Alterations to stormwater drainage;
• Removal of existing fencing;
• Installation of new fencing and gates;
• Sediment and erosion control;
• Disconnection and removal of electrical infrastructure;
• Associated works required to complete the Contract in accordance with the drawings, relevant reports and the specification.
