Services of a Cyber Security Analyst - CHIIP

CHIIP are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a role, with demonstrated expertise in proactively resolving issues and engaging effectively with stakeholders. This role will be directed by HSS to: • Deliver information security services, architecture support, and capability uplift for the Program and Project streams • Implement and maintain security controls, including firewall configuration, rule management and incident prevention measures. • Conduct security assessments, audits, and log analysis to identify vulnerabilities and risks. • Provide specialist security advice to project teams and senior stakeholders. • Build and maintain effective relationships with health agencies to support ICT security solutions. • Ensure compliance with security standards, governance requirements and WA Health/public sector codes of conduct, Occupational Safety and health, and EEO obligations. • Prepare security reports, incident analysis and recommendations • Support customer-0centric culture and contribute to continuous improvement and change activities. • Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies and best practices. • The successful candidate will have the following: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant security related certification. • Experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role with a strong emphasis on firewall administration and traffic analysis. • In-depth knowledge of firewall solutions, including configuration, rule management, and log analysis. • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail. • Experience with xDome and HP Service Manager • Experience with Check Point security tools, such as Check Point Security Gateway, Check Point Management Server, and Check Point Smart Console will be advantageous.
