Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a D&C Building Contractor for the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) Capricorn Coast Renal Extension.
The Capricorn Coast Renal Service (CCRS) is an extension to the existing CQHHS Renal Services and will operate as a spoke to the hub - the Rockhampton Hospital Renal Unit. The service will accept patients that meet a low risk profile. CQHHS has already identified patients eligible to receive treatment at the future CCRS.
The new building design allows for prefabricated options to be considered. The design responds to the functional design brief, where spaces are organised within the following functional zones.
- reception, waiting and outpatient area
- treatment
- support areas
- staff areas
