Replacement of Sprinkler Heads with Associated Asbestos Related Building Works

The Queensland Parliamentary Service is seeking submissions for the replacement of sprinkler heads with associated asbestos related building works, within the Pariamentary Annexe building located at Corner George and Alice Streets, Brisbane.

These services specifically include:

• the proper removal of all existing fire sprinkler heads and associated hardware, and the replacement with new, appropriate sprinkler heads and associated hardware;
• the removal of existing asbestos tiles, speakers and lighting, and the replacement with new fibre cement tiles, speakers and lights;
• the making good of all works to match the existing surrounds; and
• the safe disposal of asbestos and coffered ceilings in accordance with industry best practice standards.
