Transference and Modification of Transport Accident Commission Road Smart Interactive Program

The RSC requires a Contractor to implement a Western Australian version of the Victorian TAC Program. The Contractor will be responsible for transferring the existing TAC Program and modifying it for WA. The bespoke solution will consist of an application for mobile devices (suitable for devices operating iOS and/or Android) and a server application which operates off an isolated Wi-Fi network. The solution will generate and store multiplayer data and analytics to facilitate data analysis and monitoring by the RSC. The solution developed under this Contract will be independent of TAC and the Contractor’s existing products. It will be cloud-based, hosted in Australia and managed by the Contractor. The Contractor will provide ongoing maintenance and support throughout the contract period. The Contractor is responsible for procuring and preparing a package of incursion ready hardware that meets the functional requirements and technical specifications to operate the WA Program. At the end of the Contract period, the developed product may be managed by another party. The Contractor is required to provide an independent, fully operational product to allow the Program to be transferred and modified by another Contractor, should RSC choose at the end of the Contract. This includes providing all tools, source code, design architecture, test script(s), detailed operating manual, and any other related materials to enable the product to be used by another party. As the product is a bespoke software solution (non-SaaS), WA Police Force ICT requirements apply.
