J0028 - AIR9000 PHASE 7 HELICOPTER AIRCREW TRAINING SYSTEM FACILITIES, MANAGING CONTRACTOR CONTRACT (MCC-1 2003), TENDER

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced entities to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for certain Works on the basis described in the Tender Documents.

The AIR 9000 Phase 7 Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) project will acquire a new HATS to provide initial helicopter training for all Navy and Army aircrew.

Project J0028 Works will provide Government Furnished Facilities for the HATS major capital equipment project.

At the time of issuing the Tender Documents, the Works include the following elements at HMAS Albatross and the Jervis Bay Airfield:

·Hangars;

·Simulator rooms;

·Living-in accommodation;

·Office accommodation;

·Instructor training facility;

·Classrooms;

·Briefing communications rooms;

·Helicopter operations areas; and

·Meals preparation rooms.
