Provision of Transportation Services for Freight (Sea) Containers, other Facilities, and various Equipment and Goods

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is responsible for fire and emergency services in Western Australia and also supports the WA community against the unpredictability of natural hazards and emergency incidents.

DFES is seeking a suitably qualified provider who has the specialised skills to undertake logistical services in the transportation of such items as freight (sea) containers, transportables and various equipment and goods.

The required transport services under this contract are grouped into the following:

1. Transport Services for Emergency Incidents

This is time dependant transport of various equipment for emergency management operations from the Perth Metropolitan to Regional locations of Western Australia. The services will include but not be limited to transportation of freight (sea) containers, transportables and various equipment and goods required for such emergency incidents.

1. Transport Services on “Ad-hoc” basis.

This is not time-dependant transport of required equipment and goods between DFES premises across Western Australia.

Note: DFES is seeking only one supplier for both services.
