Description
The project comprises the retrospective provision of smoke and fire separation to the ward levels within Block B of King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth and the common non-critical areas to levels LG, Ground, 1 and 2 served via AHU3.
The intent is to provide fire and smoke separation via the replacement of the existing fire dampers with new fire and smoke dampers within the horizontal fire and smoke walls to the ward floors and the common return air riser to AHU3.
The scope and intent outlined is to be developed and executed via a suitably qualified and competent contractor.
All works will be undertaken whilst the building remains live and operational, requiring any tender return to include a full proposed programme of works for client comment and eventual approval.
