Description
- Background
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) of Western Australia’s PTA Project Delivery (PPD) Division is currently undertaking the procurement phase of the High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) Project. The Project will replace the existing Transperth rail network signalling system and control system technology with state-of-the-art radio-based in-cab signalling and traffic management, with the goal of achieving efficient, reliable, and predictable performance for suburban passenger services.
- Scope of Services
To support the successful procurement and implementation of the Project, the PTA requires the services of appropriately experienced and qualified personnel, to perform the duties of the HCS Independent Estimator role. Under the direction of the HCS Project Director, the HCS Independent Estimator shall provide estimating services to the Project.
The contract has an initial term of 15 months with four extension options, exercisable at the PTA’s sole discretion, as follows:
- Option 1 – 18 months;
- Option 2 – 24 months;
- Option 3 – 24 months; and
- Option 4 – 24 months.
